Pull
the lreezer
chest
bottom
out
of the
cabinet.
Remove
the
styrofoam
lreezer
coil
cover.
lt is very
important
to return
this
cover
exactly
as it
was
originally.
Remove
the
air
tunnel
from
the treezer
back.
Lift
the
freezer
coil
until it
clears
the
styrofoam
drip tray.
Form
a
piece
of
wire
into the
shape
of letter
"S"
to
fit
the
freezer
liner.
This
wire
will
serve
as
the
treezer
coil
support
while
replacing
the
connecting
rod.

Disconnect
the
plug-in
connector
to the
control
wire
harness.
11.
Pull
the
styrofoam
assembly
out.
lt
is
recommended
that the
styrofoam
drip
tray
and
the
top
of
the fresh
food
compartment
be
pulled
at the
same
time.
Pulling
separately
will
result
in
damaging
one or
the
other.
12. Place
the
styrofoam
assembly
on
a
work
surface
and remove
the
orifice
and
damper
assembly
by
pulling
up to
free
damper
shaft
from
crank.
13.
Lift the
styrofoam
drip tray
and
set it
where it
will
not
be damaged.
14.
Install
the
new
rod
and
set the
styrofoam
drip
tray
on top
of the
fresh
food
compartment
top.
15. lnsert
the
orifice
and
damper
assembly
in the
styrofoam
drip tray.
16.
Insert
the
damper
shaft in
the
crank
and
press
the
damper
into
crank
until
it
is
in
place.
17.
Assemble
the
parts
in
the
refrigerator
by following
the
reverse
order
of
removal.
NOTE:
MAKE
SURE
THE
WIRE
LEAD
TO
THE
RADIANT
HEATER
WILL
NOT
BE
IN
THE
WAY
OF THE
FREEZER
FAN
MOTOR.
